Fierce Curiosity Conversation Series: Shame
15 July @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm£30
What stops us from doing things that are good for us? What stops systems from doing things that are good for children? Can Fierce Curiosity help in bridging the uncomfortable gaps? These are the questions Suzanne Zeedyk has been contemplating recently, and these are the questions we’ll explore in this Conversation Series. In advance of every session, you will be sent a piece that Suzanne has been writing, giving us a chance to reflect together on the ideas she has been exploring. The sessions are deliberately kept small in number, giving space and time for lots of conversation.
In this session, we’ll explore the impact of SHAME. Where does it come from? Why is it so debilitating? How does it impact on the way we relate to our children? And how do we calm it enough to move beyond its grip?
Suzanne’s written pieces are intended to intrigue attendees and to get the conversation off to an energetic start. She is keen to hear what you all have to say in response! Please join her for this unique, one-off conversation on the power of Fierce Curiosity to tackle the shame that too often binds us.
