Fierce Curiosity Conversation Series: Status

What stops us from doing things that are good for us? What stops systems from doing things that are good for children?  Can Fierce Curiosity help in bridging the uncomfortable gaps?  These are the questions Suzanne Zeedyk has been contemplating recently, and these are the questions we’ll explore in this Conversation Series.  In advance of every session, you will be sent a piece that Suzanne has been writing, giving us a chance to reflect together on the ideas she has been exploring.  The sessions are deliberately kept small in number, giving space for lots of conversation.

In this session, we’ll explore the impact of STATUS.  Why is the desire for status so common within human societies?  How does the search for status shape the way we raise our children?  Are we conscious of this motivation?  How can we begin to see ourselves more clearly?
